I'm Still Awake

It's one in the morning, ten days before Christmas and I'm still awake. And I'm not tired. I am really having a good time making Christmas gifts for my family. And after tonight, I feel like I'll be able to finish everything on time (I don't dare say early) without having to go the chiropractor. I'm feeling good and I'm happy.

I finished all the purse orders. That's probably why I'm feeling so good. They were all delivered/picked up today and I think they were all pretty well received. So hooray! Done! Not doing any more for a long time (or at least until after Christmas.)

I'm excited about spending the next few weeks focussing on my children. I've been trying to be more in the moment than I normally have and as a result, Zoë and I have had some really wonderful afternoons this week. She's the best and she makes me really happy. Here's a picture from yesterday which seems to capture her spirit in a way that I can't describe.

Have a great week. Everyone take it easy and strive for delight (not perfection) this Christmas.

Your purses are "dahling," the picture of Zoe is intriguing, the monkey-themed Christmas almost inspiring (almost--I don't think I'm up to anything that ambitious). And I still love my mondo-sized bag.
